Timsrand Christmas-Eve Tale

Saturday, 24. December 2011

Monique’s way of playing with Mungane is quite often teasing him. So no wonder he is trying to play with her like he plays with the pack, including nibbling. And sometimes this hurts.

Today she was pushing it to the next level.
She crouched down to the floor, making herself smaller than Mugane. Of course Mugane was starting to nibble on her hair, trying to nibble her neck, and getting on top of her to be in control. To prevent scratches from his canines she pulled the hood of her sweatshirt down over her face. Which let Mungani search for her face underneath her.

As if that didn’t buzz Mungane in exitement yet, Monique started whining. So the mock fight was on.

All of a sudden, like a bolt out of the blue, Cramby entered the scene. Snarling and growling she attacked Mungane. He didn’t know what hit him, but the second attack obviously was painful, and he backed off from Monique.

Monique was tongue-tied and deeply moved. Her baby – the smallest of our menagerie, that barely allows to be pet – came for her rescue, and did attack a dog (although a puppy) ten-time her size.
