Today I ask “What have they done to the South African winter skies?” or probably more appropriate “what have we…?”
South African winter skies used to be blue and clear. Blue without any clouds and sunshine making the mercury easily reaching the twenties, and clear at night, so that you literaly can see the mercury falling once the sun is setting.
Today was like a typical November day in Germany: all grey, cold and drizzle. Only by now it is clearing off, and we have to get ready for another cold night.
An unusual summer, a couple of days of heavy rain in winter a couple of weeks ago, and now grey and drizzle. Is this an indication of the climate change?
